Trailhead Prospector

In collaboration with Trailhead, one of Canada’s premier outfitters and suppliers of wilderness equipment, Souris River Canoes builds a Prospector 16’ canoe.

This Trailhead model is a design made famous from the wood-canvas era of Bill Mason. Our modification incorporates the very best of the original Prospectors. The rocker makes for improved manoeuvrability in river/creek travel. It retains its open water credentials with little compromise.
